On one hand, you have the big guys who can kill you in seconds, with little effort. On the other hand, you have the underdog who has to kill them from a distance, while avoiding their shots, and even better, your own!What you see with FABR is a similar situation to Minecraft in that you do not know who is friend or foe, until you get close enough. On Xbox One, you can watch your little 'power-ups' to see if the enemy is a bigger threat, but that can only help for so long, and the reason why is because as soon as you get close enough, there is no guarantee that you are the same skill level as your opponent. I, for one, do not see myself as being capable of killing the biggest baddie in this game mode. So unless I am the most experienced player, I will have to fight to get the upper hand!So what makes FABR different than the other maps in the game? First of all, the map itself is much larger. You would think that there wouldn't be anything more to it, but a better part of each map is used for the battle royale system, which rewards players with extra points if they win. It could be said that each map is like its own battlefield, but the biggest difference is that here, you have to work much harder to find the enemy's weakness, and then you can take advantage of it to finish them off.In FABR, there are two different styles of game play. On the first one, you will find the top player, and on the other, you will find the bottom player. Here, you will find yourself either competing against bigger player or with a friend, depending on the rule set that you choose.Now, it is important to mention that, unlike FABR, you can also win the game by having an edge over your opponent, as a top player in FABR. At the start of the game, you will be automatically placed in the top half of the map, and if you are lucky, you might end up in the top half with an advantage. Then, when your match starts, you will earn points for each kill, and the higher you are on the leader board, the more points you will earn. The challenge in FABR is not to be first, as the lower you are ranked, the less points you will get, but to actually beat your opponent by being the one that kills the lowest, first.Lastly, FABR offers a lot of variety to play against the new enemies that appear in FABR. There are now skeletons, zombie crabs, as well as another interesting one that appears as a very large frog, which is what you would call a fishy stalker. But this new enemy is more terrifying than the other ones, since you have to kill it at least five times to capture it alive, and the whole thing comes with a very high damage radius.All in all, FABR is a really fun way to play with your friends, and it is definitely something that you need to play if you are not a fan of the usual game modes. They have learned how to cure themselves and regenerate, so they're constantly pushing back against humans. In order to fight back, you need to find other zombies. Luckily Minecraft Zombie Survival uses a fairly good multi-player server to host a variety of games, so the players are spread out and usually won't be so badly affected by their play.Zombie Survival uses a numbe r of different elements, including the 'Ghost' system, which allows the player to 'ghost' into other players play area, but without them knowing. This way the zombie player doesn't feel like they're being controlled by anyone.If you find water sources too shallow, the water will seep down into the base and you'll need to refill it with water, or simply dig it up again. When I started playing, I found this annoying and would often get stuck because the game didn't want me to do that.The game will also allow you to 'Ghost' out by simply walking through a gate (as a ghoul). As a ghost, you'll be able to see where you're going and where zombies will spawn. You can even see other players in the world as ghosts, which can really mess up some people's play experience.Zombies are pretty deadly. If you're not careful, you can be eaten by one without even realizing what's happening. With all of these different elements at play, it's hard to decide who to root for, as they each seem to be batt ling the other side. However, I'd choose to play with the players who are probably dying because they're the better players.
